Cathy’s fused glass day was a complete joy. It’s fascinating and we learnt a lot. The workshop has a calming atmosphere (with fresh tea and coffee) helping our creative minds design our fused coasters/dishes. So much fun and suitable for both beginners as well as the more experienced. The homemade lunch was a delicious touch too!

I had an amazing day creating a stained glass panel in Cathy's wonderful garden workshop. Cathy was a great tutor and the whole experience was both fascinating and rewarding. I made a lovely, unique present for my wife and was really impressed with what I had achieved with no experience in just one day! I would really recommend this others. A delicious, homemade lunch and treats were provided during the day too!

I brought this experience as a wedding anniversary present for my husband. He loved the experience and came home with a beautiful stained glass panel. The food was great and he felt very welcomed. Would highly recommend it as a gift for others or a day out for yourself.

I had an amazing experience with Cathy. She is an exceptional teacher and a very gifted artisan. I enjoyed following through the various steps of this project, under Cathy's expert guidance. I am delighted with the final result of my endeavour. From arrival at their lovely home I thoroughly enjoyed my experience including the especially delicious food. I was also catered for with a scrumptious lunch of broccoli and stilton soup. Yum! I recommend coming for the food alone.... ! as well as the great company and the diligence of the craft to which I was new. All in all I had a wonderful time. 

I was so pleased to be able to create, with a lot of gentle support and guidance, something that I’m happy to hang at home, and be very pleased with.   And, importantly, such happy memories associated with it, and the time spent with you both.

Thank you for the lovely food, wide-ranging conversations and such energy and yet encouragement to just to ‘let go’ and relax and let creativity happen.

A brilliant day all round and I will definitely be back to learn more.
 

I booked this stained glass window making course for my wife's birthday and she loved it. It was a great thing for the two of us to do together. Cathy is a wonderful teacher, She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient! With only two of us in the class, we got all the attention we needed. The day was very well organised and the workshop is a great place to work in and very well equipped. The process itself is absorbing and at just the right level of difficulty for me as a complete novice! Cathy's partner John cooked us a wonderful lunch and was great company too. We had a lovely time and are both really proud of our creations. I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone who is interested in stained glass window making.

What a great day…absorbing, fun, and we each left with a piece each that we were pleased with. Cathy was brilliant dealing with two people with very different approaches:  one who likes to be in control and get things right , and one overambitious and happy to wing it a bit . She was endlessly patient. We both really enjoyed it. Lunch was delicious and was like having lunch with friends, and we left tired and happy. 

I booked this as a surprise birthday present for my girlfriend. Cathy started off explaining the steps required to create the stained glass panels before we chose our designs for the day. We then progressed through the day with each step being explained in further detail, before a demonstration being given to see how it should be done. We were then given the opportunity to practise the steps before working on our own panels. The day flowed well with regular breaks for refreshments and a wonderful homemade soup for lunch. At the end of the day we both ended up with our own panels to take away which just shows what can be accomplished in a day with some expert tuition. I'd highly recommend this to someone who wants to give stained glass a go.
